Class list on my desk for attendance

Period 1: Pre Cal 40

Continue on to the next section in their booklets - Graphs of reciprocals. Do as much as they can
There are some links on the pre cal 40 wiki transformations page that they might find useful.

Period 2: PreCal 30

Carlene and Taryn should do Friday's quiz on Quadratic graphs - I think its on my desk but if not I will attach it below it should only take them 20 max but they will need graph paper.

Carlene and Taryn also need a quadratic formula worksheet to ctch up on = there should be some spares on my desk I hope

Period 3: Applied 30

Remind them that Assignment 1 (Wages) is due today (Brandon, John and Curtis)
Work on Pay deductions questions in text book P233 Qu 4-12

If they finish all of that Assignment 2 on payroll deduction is in worksheet box, bottom shelf, near door.

This is their day to work in the physics lab but keep them in the classroom and let the physics lot go to the lab.

Period 3: Physics 40

Print off this file (or get the students to do it for you).

They are going to do a simple experiment but will need metre sticks - there is one in my classroom and some more in the physics lab side room ( not the chemical prep rm) you will need to get somebody to unlock it for you. If you can't find any they could try with a normal ruler but it might not be long enough. For the extension instead of using real bills they can use paper of about the same size. They will need to work in pairs or 3s.

Period 4: Trans Math

Worksheets in worksheet box, unformtuantely they are all at different stages! We are working on calculations with negative numbers
They should have all done addition/subtraction worksheet, then there is a multiplication worksheet and a division one.If they get all that done there is an order of operations worksheet.

Discourage them from using their calculators if at all possible!

Period 4: Essential Math

students continue to work in their workbooks or on their projects. They can go to the computer lab/library if they need to.
